All the elves in The Workshop Store loved The Chief. He was a kind, friendly and funny elf. Each day he made a point of calling a friend with whom he worked to see how the day was going and to see if help with their work was needed. The Chief always wore a small-brimmed dress hat and elf shoes with his elf outfit that was in keeping with The Workshop official dress code. With a red feather in the crown, it was characteristic of his stylish flair and zest for life. Yet in addition to fashion, the hat and feather graced him like a crown that heralded the attention and respect he was due.

The other elves in The Workshop wore many types of hats with their elf clothing, but none were as distinct as The Chief’s. Some elf hats were knitted and some were made of fine woven fabrics, but all were characteristic of the fun, celebratory atmosphere always found at The Workshop and The Store.

The minute guests entered The Store, or were fortunate enough to be invited on the exclusive tour of The Workshop,in an instant they would be clothed in their own elf attire. The transformation wasn’t as much to comply with The Dress Code, it was because the elf outfits made the guests’ experience inside The Elf Store or Workshop complete and extremely enjoyable. After all, according to Santa, enjoyment is what it’s all about! The visitors’ new elf clothing was the perfect Santa’s helper costume!
